Hard Rock Cafe Gets a ROCKBOX from Agency TVGla
Leveraging the popularity of unboxing videos and its own limited edition merchandise, The Hard Rock Cafe is launching a global sweepstakes program created by digital agency TVGla that rewards its customers with the chance to win a Hard Rock Cafe ROCKBOX.
The ROCKBOX concept was developed to engage visitors at the Cafes and drive traffic to franchise cafe locations. It encourages winners to share and unwrap their boxes via social media and provides a hashtag that anyone can tweet, to get a chance to win a ROCKBOX at #IWantARockBox.
“The Hard Rock customer loves to share their cafe experiences,” explained Dimitry Ioffe, CEO of TVGla. “With the popularity of unboxing videos, we looked to drive increased customer engagement by creating a unique Hard Rock box that they would not only enjoy, but also want to talk about and share. This is a program driven totally by social media and the power of a great reward.”
The sweepstakes program runs until May 22 at select Hard Rock Cafes around the world. The program offers three different types of winning boxes – the standard ROCKBOX complete with local Hard Rock t-shirt, can be won daily. The bigger boxes will be rewarded to randomly selected participants on May 22. The Epic ROCKBOX will be give to 75 winners and features a five-foot box stocked with a guitar, Hard Rock Hotel bed sheets and more. The Legendary ROCKBOX, offers six lucky winners a trip for two to any Hard Rock Cafe destination around the world.
In addition to creating the sweepstakes program and developing the ROCKBOX, TVGla also created a video to promote the program here. The video and contest content will be featured online on Hard Rock Cafe’s ROCKBOX website Facebook page, and twitter.
