HALAL Welcomes NDVD to Its Roster

HALAL welcomes NDVD to its director's roster. NDVD (Nicolas Davenel and Vanessa Dumont) is a Paris-based creative duo bringing together a multi-disciplinary cocktail of complementary skills. Combining a diverse approach to the craft, the duo blends together the best of film, photography, art direction, video installation, writing, composing music and staging. Their work reflects this hybridity and is a testament to their tailored procedure - always deploying the most relevant tools to best share the story.

Having collaborated on content for the likes of Nike, adidas, Yves Saint-Laurent and Comme des Garçons, NDVD's work has had global reach and been praised for its unique signature. Their short film 'Le Grand Saut’ [2019] was an official selection for the Cannes Film Festival, and the duo has made multiple attention-grabbing music videos for artists such as KCPK and Birdy Nam Nam. In addition to directing music videos, they also compose their own music for both their commercial and fiction projects. The duo is currently working on a documentary, L’Amour Mécanique, about the passion of non-standard speed engines.
