Gramercy Park Studios and JWT ‘Bring out the Bold’ for Latest Listerine Campaign

Gramercy Park Studios partnered with creative agency JWT as their ‘Bring out the Bold’ campaign produces two new spots for dental hygiene giants, Listerine.

A follow up to 2015’s ‘Powerful Smiles’, the 30 second TVC features Listerine’s famous mouthwash and advertises the amazing opportunities a pearly-white smile could grant you - from blagging your way into a VIP party or landing a date with a complete stranger, to the rather more fanciful chances of charming your way out of a parking ticket.

The animated 10 second spot demonstrates how Listerine whitens teeth in two ways; by lifting stains and by preventing new stains from forming. 

The spots saw GPS deliver a full range of post production services, with motion graphics, VFX, colour grade and sound design completed at their Soho-based facility. In order to further streamline the workflow, editing for the campaign was completed at both GPS’ London headquarters as well as on-set.

Bill Wright, Head of Motion Graphics at GPS, comments: “Our brief was to create a number of fun, offbeat infographic inserts for Listerine to show the power of fresh breath or cavity-fighting capabilities of the product, and using a four colour palette we produced several fun, high energy 2D animations which are instantly recognisable as being part of the Listerine brand.”

GPS has consistently shown that its full service, end-to-end post production offering is what many clients want and need in today’s market. The ability to complete every facet of the post process in one location continues to bolster current client relationships, while also increasing the appeal of GPS to new clients. 

On top of their collaboration with JWT, GPS worked in conjunction with Hogarth WW, who carried out de-coupled agency production on the campaign.
