Google's Andre Le Masurier Joins R/GA as EMEA Chief Creative Officer

R/GA announces today that it has hired Andre Le Masurier as chief creative officer for EMEA. Andre joins from long-term R/GA partner, Google Brand Studio, where he held the role of executive creative director. In his new role, he will be responsible for setting the creative vision for R/GA across EMEA, curating and inspiring creative talent, and driving transformational, innovative creative work that delivers impact and growth for R/GA’s clients. He will begin work at R/GA at the end of April.

A creative pioneer for over 20 years, Andre has worked both client and agency side for some of the biggest names in the industry, from Google and 72andSunny, to AKQA and Saatchi & Saatchi. He will join two other recent senior leadership hires; Rob Campbell who joined as executive strategy director and Iain Preston, exec director client services, in forming part of a new look EMEA leadership team. Le Masurier’s experience in growing, inspiring and leading teams across a portfolio of world-class creative work that spans business, experience and marketing transformation makes him the ideal creative leader to shape and drive R/GA’s creatively led approach to innovation.

While at Google Brand Studio, Le Masurier helped build a team from 4-5 people to a full service, world-class in-house creative team. During this time he helped to create work for Google across EMEA and the globe that has won nearly 100 awards to-date, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, ADC, Webby's, Clios's, ADCC, FWA, Awwwards and more. Prior to Google, Andre held the position of Creative Director at 72andSunny in Los Angeles, where he led campaigns for Google Chromebook, Chromecast, Chrome, Made with Code and brand level campaign work across all channels including the award-winning Star Wars The Force Awakens partnership.
