Latest appointment follows an infusion of new top talent at the agency
FCB announced today that Giorgio Brenna will join its Milan office as CEO of Italy. Brenna joins FCB Milan srl after more than a decade spent at Publicis Groupe, most recently as Global Client Leader for FCA.

Brenna’s arrival marks the latest in exciting leadership additions for FCB Milan srl. In November 2017, Fabio Bianchi and Francesco Bozza joined the agency as Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer, respectively. This keen commitment to acquiring top talent in this market signals an ambitious plan for the agency and confirms the willingness of FCB and IPG to invest in Italy – something many competitors have not had the strategy or client need to do.

At the heart of the FCB philosophy, there is the belief that the best part of a brand is “Never Finished:” a story whose next chapter has not yet been written. This applies to brands, but most importantly, to FCB itself more generally. With FCB Milan’s latest infusion of best-in-class talent, the agency has started an exciting chapter in its Italian history, and has evolved significantly to give life to a more robust, full-service agency that has helped win pitches and attract new client partners.

Carter Murray, Worldwide CEO of FCB, shared: “Giorgio Brenna is one of the most influential managers in the Italian communications industry and, more important, he has been a friend for 13 years. His hire is a major coup for us and this leadership change is integral to the agency’s continued growth and success. He is an exceptional talent with the gravitas and dynamism to lead an established team that includes the powerhouse team of Fabio and Francesco, and I am excited to see the new agency flourish under his care.”

“The project and the approach of Carter, FCB and IPG have been integral to my fast decision: they are perfectly in tune with the values and evolutionary perspectives of our industry,” added Brenna. “On a global scale, FCB is a leading brand, enjoying incredible momentum on a creative and strategic level. It is a network that still puts people at the center, cultivates great talent and allows creative potential to be realized with powerful platform ideas.”
