Geometry Wins Big at El Ojo de Iberoamérica

Argentina a top festival winner with Grand Prix for Cinemark Hoyts and Geometry Mexico ranked #1 in Latin America for Graphic Production

Geometry Wins Big at El Ojo de Iberoamérica

Geometry, WPP’s End-to-End Creative Commerce Agency, has garnered 22 awards at the 22nd annual El Ojo de Iberoamérica in Buenos Aires, Argentina, one of the most important creative festivals in the region.  Collectively the wins for Geometry Argentina, Geometry Mexico, Geometry Colombia and Geometry Costa Rica include a Grand Prix, 7 Gold, 6 Silver and 8 Bronze.

A Grand Prix in audiovisual production was awarded to Geometry Argentina for Cinemark-Hoyts’ “Robot”, the centerpiece of a comprehensive campaign unveiled early this year.  The campaign highlights the magical quality of going to the cinema, conveyed in a robot love story for theater chain Cinemark and Hoyts.

The region also received recognition for Best Country Idea across Argentina, Colombia and Costa Rica.  In conjunction with the awards, El Ojo released their annual country rankings with Geometry Costa Rica ranked #1 in the country, Geometry Argentina ranked #3 (and #10 in Latin America), Geometry Mexico ranked #3 and Geometry Colombia ranked #5.  Geometry Mexico was also ranked #1 in Graphic Production across Latin America.

Commenting on the wins, German Yunes, CEO, Geometry LATAM, says “This recognition at El Ojo reflects Geometry’s continued evolution and the outstanding performance of all our teams working with clients across Latin America.”

“Four offices winning awards, along with them being ranked in the Top 5, is a testament to our commitment to creativity and shows that time and again we deliver solutions – locally, regionally and globally- that drive impact and conversion,” added Juan Jose Posada, Executive Creative Director, Geometry LATAM.

The winning streak comes on the heels of Geometry Argentina’s recent Gold and Bronze Effie wins for Volkswagen’s “The Sand Ad” at Effie Argentina.
