WPP’s Geometry Global welcomes Marta LaRock as the new North America Chief Strategy Officer.
Marta joins Geometry with over 25 years of experience working across both brand and shopper marketing, most of which was spent at WPP agencies including Y&R, Ogilvy and JWT. Her expertise is in telling brand stories, creating communications for a changing world and mentoring planners. But her true passion is creating great ideas. She discovered a love for shopper marketing early in her career and is excited to work at the shopper/activation agency. "Geometry is determined to make shopper marketing sexy by bringing the outside world in- culture and human truth right into the retail environment to entice consumers, bond with them and seal the deal,” she notes.
Eric Pakurar will be moving on from his role and is starting his own consulting business. He was the first CSO that Geometry North America ever had, helping to get the agency off the ground in 2013. He held the same position with G2 prior to the merger, starting there in 2010.
Planning has been a critical success factor for Geometry. From a creative and strategic perspective over the last year, the company has increased its staffing by 40% and continues to win coveted business in North America including recent work for AB InBev, Coca-Cola, Target and Kimberly Clark Professional.
