Geometry Global Australia Appoints New Client Services Director

Geometry Global Australia continues to draw global talent with the appointment of Ben Walker as Client Services Director.

Working closely with CEO Sean Taylor, Walker will oversee Geometry Global’s strategic product across all clients on a national basis.   

Sean Taylor, CEO, Geometry Global Australia, said he was delighted to have someone of Ben’s calibre join the team at a time of increased organic growth plus new client wins that will deliver both growth to the agency and an increased level of shopper marketing activity.

“Australia is still relatively embryonic in its understanding and implementation of shopper marketing, but savvy manufacturers, service providers and retailers who understand the entire path-to-purchase journey are already reaping real results. 

“With up to 80% of a shoppers decision made prior to entering a store, Ben and his team will be responsible for influencing this part of the journey, not just the last 20%.  Ben’s strategic thinking and understanding of true shopper marketing complements an already first class team.”

Walker joins from highly awarded agency Geometry Global Dubai, where he was most recently Client Servicing Director. He brings to Australia more than a decade of strategy and client lead experience, helping create effective and award-winning campaigns across all communications disciplines.

While at Geometry Global  Dubai Walker played a key role as a member of the Global Coca-Cola team plus was Client Lead on Team Blue MENA, GSK’s WPP offering.   Prior to this he worked across multiple global brands in the alcoholic beverage category including; Heineken, Jack Daniel’s, Peroni, Russian Standard, Stoli Vodka and the award winning campaigns for Tiger Beer and Tiger Co-lab.

On his new appointment Walker said: “With changing behaviours and changing expectations people have from brands there needs to be a genuine transformation of brand equity into action.
