Geometry Global Appoints Fadi Shuman as Global Chief Digital Officer

Geometry Global continues to invest in game-changing talent with the arrival of Fadi Shuman as Global Chief Digital Officer. Fadi joins the global executive committee, reporting to CEO Steve Harding.

Steve Harding comments, “Fadi is a true digital evangelist with a strong entrepreneurial background. Sitting at the intersection of brand, content and commerce, he understands how and why people shop online.”

Fadi arrives from award-winning global e-commerce agency BORN as Co-founder, Chief Creative and Commerce Officer. Under his leadership the global commerce division expanded its footprint across North America, Europe and APAC – helping to grow revenue from digital and e-commerce services five-fold in three years. Fadi has worked with iconic brands and businesses including Red Bull, DKNY, M&S, Unilever, TATA Group, Tesco and Tag Heuer.

An agency founder and entrepreneur, Fadi arrives with a wealth of experience in growing and developing businesses including 15 years of delivering omni-channel commerce solutions to brands worldwide.

From 2001 - 2012, Fadi was CEO of the agency he founded, POD1, which operated in London and New York and created transformative e-commerce experiences for businesses UNIQLO, Net-a-Porter, Mr & Mrs Smith, and Salvatore Ferragamo, among others.

A creative technologist, Fadi has co-created proprietary technologies and platforms including the profitable List Ideas, a way to create online wish lists from items across the web, which grew a community of over 100,000 users. He also co-founded kamikazevideos.com, an online platform for extreme sports enthusiasts that tapped into the nascent growth of user generated video, distributing these to multiple online channels in Europe and Asia. He eventually sold the business.

Fadi has sat on multiple juries including the Webbys, EcommerceAwards.com and Awwwards. He has landed a BIMA, Pixel Award, FWA, IMA and was listed on the 2012 Inc.500.

Fadi’s arrival follows the recent appointment of Luise Hübbe as Geometry EMEA Chief Digital Officer. He is located in London.
