R/GA has announced the appointment of Geoff Edwards as VP, Executive Creative Director of its Los Angeles office.

Geoff joins R/GA from CAA Marketing where he was Co-Head of Creative leading accounts for Anheuser Busch InBev, Blizzard, Keurig, 4-H, CASA and was responsible for such cultural work as the award winning short documentary “American Dreams” for Jimmy Johns.

Prior to CAA, Geoff Co-Founded DOJO, a creative agency in SF with clients including Activision, Playstation, NVidia, Logitech and Google, while also developing proprietary IP like highly acclaimed tablet game “Abductionary” featured in WIRED.

Earlier in his career, Geoff Co-Founded T.A.G., McCann where he won multiple Grand Prix for his work on Microsoft’s XBOX360 global launch campaign and the famous Halo 3 “Believe” campaign. Prior to that, at TBWA\Chiat\Day, his work on the Adidas “IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING” campaign delivered the brand’s first Cannes Advertiser of the Year honor.

Geoff was also featured in Creativity Magazine’s inaugural “Creativity 50”, as well as Boards Magazine's “Top 50 Art Directors” in America. And his work and writings have been covered in many publications, from the New York Times to Fast Company.

Nicky Bell, R/GA LA’s SVP Managing Director commented: “2017 was a huge year for R/GA LA so the timing couldn’t be better to bring on-board someone as creatively inspirational as Geoff. He's a rare creative leader with huge personal talent who also knows what it takes to lead a team to create work that is not only effective but truly groundbreaking.”

In 2016, Geoff also served as Co-Founder of SATURDAY MORNING, a coalition for Peace with Industry heavyweights, Keith Cartwright, and Jayanta Jenkins. The organization is designed to address social issues within and beyond the marketing Industry through creativity.

“Geoff and I also share a deep commitment to creating a strong, diverse culture, where everyone at the agency is encouraged to bring the full breadth of their experiences and talents to work. We are excited to be working together with this as a focus” continued Nicky.

“I’m excited to partner with Nicky and the rest of the R/GA family,” said Edwards. “As storytelling, technology and entertainment continue to converge, I believe that R/GA LA is uniquely positioned to push culture forward. The opportunity to do something great here with the amazing client list we have and the support of Chloe and Taras landed me. Frankly, I’ve always admired the agency Bob and the team have built. And now I’m here, I want to make this a place where others can come and be inspired to do the best work of their careers - and have fun doing it.”
