Standard Music Library has announced two fresh new releases in its catalogue.
The first of the two new releases for the year is ESL234 Outernational Funk. A boiling hot, melting-pot of cross-continental funk; a new alternative to the popular Funky Breaks album (ESL081). Featuring funky horns, funky guitar and even funkier beats. All the tracks are composed by Red Snapper drummer Richard Thair.

Or go here to see/hear a software-assisted live 're-versioning' of the album's closing track, Pale Flower (named after Masahiro Shinoda's 1964 film of the same name).

ESL175 Love Is...
The second release of the two continues Standard Music Library's series of archive re-releases from the '60s and '70s... with some love, romance and a little bit of heartache.
Includes tracks by Chris Gunning, Derry Hall, John Gregory and Stanley Myers, the man responsible for 'Cavatina' and 'The Deer Hunter' (1978) soundtrack. The music was originally commissioned for London Weekend Television (ITV).
