Fresh Film Signs Three New Directors

Fresh Film strides into 2018 by announcing the signing of three new performance directors. The international production company has signed two Norwegian directors Kenneth Karlstad and Oma Lisberg alongside award-winning Canadian promo and performance director Scott Cudmore for UK commercial representation. 

Both Oma and Kenneth are represented in their home territory through Fante Film Norway whilst Scott joins the Fresh roster for the UK off the back of Fresh Film’s international arrangement with Good Company. Scott is also repped in his Canadian home territory by Revolver Films.

Each director’s work is imbued with engaging performances, impeccable casting and highly considered production design.

Kenneth Karlstad

Kenneth Karlstad is an Oslo-based performance director and screenwriter working mainly in commercials and on self-initiated fictional performance-based projects. His work is highly emotive, observational and expressive. He often portrays a subversive edge to his characters with realism at the core.

Kenneth’s short film The Hunger won the Film Critics Award at The Norwegian Short Film Festival and is currently being screened at various festivals across Europe. Ever keen to continue developing his love of emotive performance led work Kenneth is currently developing a TV series and feature film.

Oma LIsberg

Oma Lisberg is a young comedy performance director. With a love for casting and the absurd he relishes working closely with acting talent to develop engaging characters. Oma is able to bring an offbeat and somewhat awkward sense of humour and timing to his work, which he combines with carefully considered composition and meticulous production design.

Scott Cudmore

The third new addition to the Fresh roster is highly acclaimed Toronto based performance and multi award-winning promo director Scott Cudmore.

Scott has worked with artists including Feist, Belle and Sebastian, Spoon, Alt J, Justin Bieber and most recently has worked with the Pharrell Williams fronted group N.E.R.D. on their comeback track 'Lemon' featuring Rihanna with Beyoncé's Creative Director Todd Tourso.
