Advertising agency barrettSF has hired Molly Friedman as account director, Patrick Kelly, barrettSF’s founder and managing director announced today.
The Chicago native will handle the 2K Games, Humboldt Redwood and Exchange Bank accounts along with new business for the San Francisco shop.
“We got lucky again with this one,” said Kelly. “Molly has the experience and energy that we love, and we can’t wait to see what kind of impact she will have on the place.”
Friedman comes to barrettSF from Wieden +Kennedy NY, where she served as account supervisor on Spotify, Clinique, GAP and Southern Comfort.
Her advertising career began as employee #20 at mcgarrybowen Chicago. Friedman helped manage a variety of brands under the Kraft Foods umbrella at the upstart agency, and eventually spearheaded the launch of Mondelez International. Several years and 200 employees later, it was time for her to move on to NYC and then eventually San Francisco.
