At the 2017 Cannes International Festival of Creativity, advertising agency Fitzgerald & Co.(Fitzco) continued its winning streak for QSR Checkers and Rally’s “Buy Back the Block,” an integrated marketing campaign that documents Rick Ross’ purchase of his childhood burger stand in Carol City, Florida.
The effort won two trophies: a SILVER in the Entertainment for Music - Artist as a Brand Ambassador category, and a BRONZE in PR (in collaboration with Checkers and Rally’s PR) - Retail, e-Commerce, Restaurants & Fast Food Chains.Additionally, “Buy Back the Block” was shortlisted in the following categories:
