Firstborn Expands Strategic Leadership Team

Firstborn is building out its strategy team as its client roster continues to expand, most recently with the addition of Jet.com and S&P Global. 

On the executive level, Firstborn has promoted Scott Fogel to the role of Director of Strategy. Scott has been with the agency for over 2 years, most recently as Associate Director of Strategy helping to oversee brands like Mountain Dew, L’Oreal Luxe and AARP. In his new role, Scott will partner with Liju George, Director of Analytics, to focus on developing long-term digital growth strategies across all Firstborn clients while leading a core team of strategists in working closely with the agency’s creative and technology departments to develop integrated and innovative digital solutions.  

Adding to that core team of strategists are new hires Emily Kolodner, who steps into the role of Senior Data Strategist, and Heather Beck, coming on as a Senior Strategist.

Emily joins the agency from StellaService, NY, where she most recently held post as Research Director, supporting the launch of the company’s latest engagement tools and also overseeing all custom data collection projects.  Prior, Emily held Manager roles at NBCUniversal, over its network news and forecasting business, and at Sirius XM Satellite Radio, over its advertising sales business.

Heather Beck spent the last two years on the client side at Capital One, where she was Senior Brand / Marketing Associate on the consumer banking side. In this role, Heather led product and feature launches, as well as design thinking initiatives for the brand. Prior she was a Consumer Strategist at Initiative and also worked in advertising sales at Discovery Communications.
