Ariel expands her responsibilities within FCB Health to help fuel network growth
FCB Health Network Chief Executive Officer and President Dana Maiman today announced that industry veteran Ariel Buda-Levin has been named executive vice president, managing director of FCBVIO, the network’s Clinical Trial Patient Recruiting agency based in New York. She will be responsible for overseeing growth, operations, client management and the overall strategic offering at the agency.

Currently executive vice president, managing director of FCB Health’s ProHealth – one of the network’s full-service medical communications divisions – Buda-Levin will now grow her skill set and dually lead the charge at FCBVIO. In this additional role, she will spearhead innovation in the clinical trial space, focusing on root cause, referral, rescue and retention solutions that complement, optimise and support sites, patients and sponsors.

“Ariel is a proven leader at FCB, and now is the perfect time for her to amplify her position within our network,” said Maiman. We are proud to have her at the helm of FCBVIO and ProHealth, where we are thrilled to see notable growth in talent, offerings and services.”

As managing director of ProHealth since 2016, Buda-Levin has partnered with leading healthcare brands to drive inventive storytelling, developing the most clinically relevant, scientifically rigorous and compelling stories to resonate with target audiences. She previously served as senior vice president and vice president, medical strategy director and group medical director at ProHealth before being promoted to managing director.

Tammy Fischer, managing director of specialised agencies for the FCB Health Network, added: “Ariel has demonstrated her value at ProHealth over the past seven years, and has truly grown the agency in a meaningful way to make it a cornerstone of our network. The expansion of her leadership role within FCB Health is incredibly well-deserved, and I cannot wait to see where she helps take FCBVIO next.”

Before arriving at FCB, Buda-Levin worked in high-level roles at a variety of eminent healthcare companies, specialising in strategy and communications, including Noveida Health LLC, where she was vice president, strategic services (2008–2012). She also held the titles of scientific supervisor at The McMahon Group (2007–2008), associate director, medical writing services at Medical Knowledge Group (2005–2007) and associate editor at Impact Communications (2004–2005).

“I am beyond excited to take on this new position and support FCB Health’s specialised agencies as they continue to grow and evolve,” said Buda-Levin. “I look forward to shaping the trajectory of FCBVIO – as well as ProHealth – and fostering a more collaborative community within the FCB Health Network as a whole.”

Prior to joining the corporate healthcare space, Buda-Levin completed her Master of Science in integrative biosciences (concentrating in neuroscience) at Penn State, after graduating with a Bachelor of Science from the University.
