Fallon will move to Leo Burnett's offices in Kensington Village as part of new 'alignment'
Publicis Communications announces the appointment of Gareth Collins, current CEO of Fallon London, to CEO of Leo Burnett. The two agencies will align, with Fallon moving into the Leo Burnett Kensington Village office by the end of the year. In his new role, Gareth will join the UK Publicis Communications leadership team and report to Justin Billingsley, Global COO of Publicis Communications.

This promotion brings together two creatively driven agencies and an energetic leader to establish an offering with the scale required to adapt and flex to meet clients’ evolving needs. Fallon clients will now have access to the 85-office strong Leo Burnett network.

Gareth has a proven track record in senior agency management of both creative boutique and large network agencies, including Clemenger BBDO and AMV BBDO. During his two years leading Fallon, the agency won substantial new business including: Deliveroo, ebookers, Expedia and Skoda’s digital business.

Leo Burnett has been named a top three agency network in the Gunn Report for the past three consecutive years and was named ADC and Epica Network of the Year 2016. Globally the agency has built its creative reputation for icon campaigns including Always, Kellogg’s and McDonald’s, with the London office recently picked up the global McDonald’s World Cup and McDelivery tasks. With Fallon on board, the client roster includes: AXA, ebooker, Kellogg’s, McDonald’s, Pfizer, Red Bull, Samsung and Skoda.

Justin Billingsley, Global COO of Publicis Communications, commented: “Gareth is a next-generation leader, with a great new business track record. His appointment to this expanded remit is testament to Publicis Groupe recognising great talent from within; while attracting big names from around the industry. We are excited to promote Gareth and look forward to seeing his fresh thinking and energy, taking Leo Burnett forward.”

Gareth Collins, CEO of Leo Burnett UK, adds: “Leo Burnett is one of the most iconic agencies in the world with a strong belief in creativity and a fantastic culture. I'm really looking forward to working with the team to build the next chapter as we continue to grow and evolve to meet our clients’ needs.”
