Commission PostPanic to create stunning 3d projection to launch their brand in the Netherlands.

9pm, 1st April 2012, Amsterdam’s Westergasfabriek - the stunning historical setting for an ambitious 3d projection on one of the most distinctive buildings in The Netherlands to help launch new Manpower Group company, Experis. The famous cylinderical shape of the Gashouder (a steel gas tank built in 1902 which can extend to a height of 40m) provided an opportunity for PostPanic to push 3d projection technology even further and create a stunning 4 minute visual ride through the story of ‘The Human Age’ - the aptly titled primary focus of the new Experis recruitment brand.

Calling upon Experis and Manpower’s core belief in inspiration and creative focus in the workplace of the future, the brand commissioned Amsterdam-based creative studio, PostPanic to produce a unique piece of visual art not only to act as a distinctive launch moment for the brand in the Netherlands but also for the enjoyment of art lovers and local residents in the area.

PostPanic directors and motion graphic specialists, Eat My Dear, took on the challenge of creating the 4 minute projection experience - this their 2nd projection mapping project to date (they also directed PostPanic’s 3d projection in Dubai for a washing powder brand). Jules Tervoort, Executive Producer at PostPanic, ‘This was a great project for us because Experis ultimately gave us the freedom to achieve something highly ambitious - an abstract and graphic interpretation as a journey through their story of ‘The Human Age’. In addition, we were given this amazing building to use as a canvas and it meant we could really let our imaginations use the building’s cylindrical shape to its full potential.’ Amsterdam’s Massive Music provided the dramatic soundtrack which accompanied the final visual experience.
