Droga5 NY Crafts Harmony from Chaos in Latest Hennessy Campaign

Creating Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège is no small undertaking. Weather conditions change, harvest cycles vary and distillation and maturation processes hinge on a multitude of variables. But it’s from these chaotic circumstances that the experts at Hennessy have managed to produce the ultimate harmony—a cognac that isn't just perfectly balanced, but is precisely the same cognac in every glass and every bottle, year after year.

For their first marketing push for the Hennessy V.S.O.P brand, Droga5 developed an integrated campaign featuring a killer interactive web experience that launched today. The campaign and digital experience, called “Harmony. Mastered from Chaos,” is a responsive WebGL campaign microsite featuring an interactive film experience that highlights the complexity, mastery and tradition that goes into every single bottle of Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilege. Using advanced technologies like 3-D LiDAR scanning, depth capture and binaural audio recording, along with live-­action footage, the campaign puts a fresh spin on a centuries-­old story of craftsmanship and the pursuit of perfection. It’s a story we believe will resonate with whiskey and other brown ­spirit consumers, including fans of Hennessy’s popular V.S Cognac.
