This week
Dingo Bill announces that documentary and creative director Ben Hume-Paton has
joined its growing roster of talent for content creation.
His role as
Creative Director on PR and experiential projects as well as crafting beautiful
films for leading fashion and lifestyle brands stands him in good stead for the
sort of content projects that Dingo Bill specialise in.
Over the years Ben has notched up an
enviable Client list including Nike, Honda, Clairol and Dove. His study
of graphics led him towards directing music videos. He set up his own creative
production company IDP and then Soma. It was from these early and inspiring
times that Ben learnt the craft of filmmaking.
His work takes influence from many sources including fashion, architecture and graphic design, which can all be seen within his film work. By 2007 Ben’s innovative music videos had gained the attention of agency Creatives and he leapt into the realm of TV commercials.
Whilst
working on catwalk shows for Next, he pitched for their creative assignment to
write and direct commercials for the retail giant.
Ben’s TV
credits include a season on ‘Top Gear’, Discovery Series ‘Jetstream’ and more
recently the acclaimed documentary ‘TT Legends’ for ITV4.
In 2013 Hume
Paton evolved again seeing his first foray into drama. He completed the YouTube
comedy ‘5 A-Side’, a 50-minute drama, which received over 4 million hits.
Ben is as
happy at shooting with a large crew as he is shooting guerilla style. This
makes him a great addition to Dingo Bill as they’re known for their can-do
attitude whilst creating beautiful and stylish films.
