Darling Films to Rep Hey Wonderful for Commercials and Content in the UK

US commercial production company Hey Wonderful has announced that their roster will now be represented by Darling Films in the UK.

Hey Wonderful, founded by industry veteran Michael Di Girolamo, was named in AdAge/Creativity’s Production Company 2018 A-List as one of their Production Companies to Watch. Since its inception Hey Wonderful has quickly established itself with recognition from industry awards bodies such as Cannes, The Webbys, One Show, AICP and Ciclope, amongst others.

Established in 2018 as part of the RSA Films family, Darling Films is the new UK commercial production venture from joint MDs Clare Timms and Kelly Doyle.  

Darling’s Head of New Business/Executive Producer Kat Downs, who worked previously with Di Girolamo, commented, “Having worked with Michael at his previous company in New York as a sales rep, I am thrilled to be collaborating with him again and the extended Hey Wonderful family across the States, many of whom I know. It really does feel like the gang is back together again!”

The Wonderful directors repped by Darling for the UK are Tricia Brock, who recently won a Cannes Gold Lion for Nike Women’s online series, 'Margot vs. Lily;' Peking, the directing duo behind award-winning films for Skype, including 'Pet Detective' and the 'Stay Together' Family Portraits campaign; Sam Spiegel, who directed his first commercial film via Hey Wonderful – Webby winner 'The Instrument' for Nat Geo; Sam Taylor-Johnson, whose first work with Hey Wonderful is the entertaining fashion film 'Gentleman Givenchy' ft. Aaron Taylor-Johnson; The Coles, the sought-after directing team behind Tommee Tippee’s 'Everywhere You Look;' Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, director of The Huntsman: Winter’s War;  Alek Keshishian, who helmed Selena Gomez 'Hands to Myself' and Smartwater 'Sex Tape' ft. Jennifer Aniston; and John Dolan, a top visual storyteller whose work includes spots for Peugeot, Zales, BMW, The North Face and many others.
