Cut+Run continues tradition of nurturing young editorial talent

Cut+Run is incredibly proud to announce the promotion of rising star Jack Singer to editor. Home-grown talent Jack (who has been with the established edit house for seven years) has swiftly developed into one of the most sought after music video editors over the past year and is now making his mark in the commercial world too.

Jack has always prided himself in being a versatile editor, with 2015 seeing him work with a number of award-winning directors on a diverse range of projects - from high profile commercial campaigns, to MVA nominated music videos. Tipped as the ‘one to watch’ in the coming year with a portfolio built on commercials for Nike, Ford and the coveted 2015 Baileys Christmas Campaign, as well as promos Bloc Party, Tourist and Sigala, Jack has a bright future ahead of him.

Cut+Run Editor and Partner, Ben Campbell said, “Jack, the man in black, has modestly and superbly made his way to full editor. Assisting can be a long hard road but I never heard a negative word from him. His quiet dedication to his craft and strength of personality make him stand out from the crowd.”

Toby Abbott, Cut+Run’s Managing Director added, “I’m very excited about Jack and his future at Cut+Run. He’s already proved himself to be one of London’s top new editing talents with his beautifully rhythmical editing style and is a joy to spend time with.”

With Jack already on the way to greatness, Cut+Run aim to continue their tradition of nurturing the best young editorial talent in the industry and are proud to showcase their up-and-coming talent on the Promos + Content section of their website.
