Cut+Run announces the addition of editor Nick Armstrong to its London roster. Nick carries with him an impressively creative showreel of award-winning work and a 2015 D&AD Best Editing Pencil under his belt.
“It’s a great company and it feels like an exciting time to be there. I’ve admired the work coming out of Cut+Run since I started cutting and it’s home to some of my favourite editors, so I'm over the moon to be joining the team,” Says Nick.
Born and raised in a small town just outside of Newcastle, Nick cut his teeth on his school's VHS decks and a camcorder - having began cutting together his own movie trailers out of an old VHS collection from an early age. "I knew it was something that came naturally to me and I’ve loved the craft from way back then," he says.
He joins Cut+Run having established himself as a leading editor at Envy Post working on countless high profile campaigns for 4 Creative, Cadbury and the multi-award winning film Bearing Witness for The Times & The Sunday Times.
Toby Abbott, Cut+Run’s Managing Director said: “Nick is an amazing talent with a great storytelling ability. To compliment his editing skills, he has the ability to put all in his presence at ease and is a joy to be with.”
