As the world’s best golfers battle to make the cut at Royal Birkdale, the R&A can be happy knowing that The Open is already creating unforgettable sporting tales on a stage that couldn’t look any better.
Building on their strong ongoing partnership, The Open once again used CSM Live to transform one of the finest links courses in England and deliver a world-class event for competitors and fans alike. The global leader in creating and delivering live experiences, CSM Live, was responsible for implementing branding and signage across the entirety of The Open 2017, including the 1st and 18th hole grandstands, tee signage across all 18 holes, internal fit out of the Autograph Zone and entrance for the Claret Jug Pavilion.
With each successful championship that passes, the 40-year relationship between The Open and CSM Live goes from strength to strength; with 2017 being the first of a new four-year agreement.
CSM Live has a wealth of experience in creating and implementing some of the highest-profile sporting events across the world. In the golfing arena alone, the business has been responsible for bringing to life the prestigious BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth earlier this year, and most recently delivering world-class experiences at the Open de France and Scottish Open.
The cut for The Open 2017 happens at the end of today’s second round, with the winner of the Claret Jug being decided at the close on Sunday 23rd July.
