Cossette's Agency Christmas Card Has It All... Kinda

The 2016 Holiday Video Card from Cossette takes a satirical look at … well … holiday cards. The annual holiday video from Cossette is a sardonic testimonial to the 'cherished holiday tradition' of agencies sending holiday cards to their clients.

Expressed with Hallmark-esque music and tone, the video features a series of clients talking about the emotional and highly anticipated arrival of the Cossette card. The first client featured in the video sums up his expectation like this: “The holidays were approaching fast, but even after the first snowfall, I felt like something was missing. And then…..I opened my mailbox.”  The Cossette card had arrived.

The warm comments are interspersed with wry statements that respond to the verbal comments. For example, when another client says speaks to the camera and says, “my  knees got weak” when the card arrived, the comment appears on the screen: “That’s not the card. That’s osteoporosis.”
