CORD has announced the first in an ongoing series of radio shows, featuring producer and synthesiser enthusiast Simon James (aka Simonsound) in conversation with CORD's Creative Director, Dominic Goodman.
From the US pioneers like Don Buchla and Robert Moog, to the founders of the UK electronic scene and beyond, James discusses the musicians who have inspired his work.
Simon has been experimenting with sound for over 20 years. His music, radio and sound designs have been heard on BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4, BBC 6 Music, NTS, totallyradio, Resonance FM and ABC (Australia) and performances have taken place at The Royal Festival Hall, Koko, Newhaven Fort and a 1950s Telescope Dome.
