The Core Agency has secured digital duties for
Cook Islands Tourism, capping off
an excellent year of business growth for the Sydney independent.
The
agency will work alongside Dylan Harrison of The Hooligan Collective to
build on the existing brand platform he has created with Cook Islands
Tourism, 'Love a little paradise'. Harrison, who has partnered with Cook
Islands Tourism over the last two years on creative development and
film production, together with the client, invited The Core Agency to
compete for the business, given its impressive track record and digital
expertise.
The Core Agency has been tasked initially with developing an immersive
and compelling web experience that informs visitors about the
destination, inspiring them as it showcases the true beauty of its 15
Pacific islands, and facilitates the booking process. Harrison is
creative directing and producing all the films for the new site.
Says Christian
Finucane, creative partner, The Core Agency: "We're excited to
be working with Cook Islands Tourism to highlight the amazing beauty of
this unspoilt paradise. The potential for the destination in the
Australian market is huge. The Cook Islands are truly a hidden gem, and
we look forward to helping more people discover their next South Pacific
holiday destination."
Says Karla Eggelton, director of sales and
marketing, Cook Islands Tourism: "We had several options
following the pitch, but The Core Agency presented outstanding strategic
thinking and demonstrated considerable digital expertise."
The
win comes after a highly successful past 12 months that saw the agency
win new business including The Australian Nursing and Midwifery
Federation, The Fred Hollows Foundation as well as extending its
relationship with QBE Insurance and Sydney Airport. The agency has
almost doubled in size in the past year, appointed Jane Callister as
managing director and moved into larger premises in Sydney's Surry
Hills.
