The film is set in American suburbia and features rapper Rejjie as an alien on the run with a female accomplice
This is Irish rapper, Rejjie Snow’s first video from his recently released debut album ‘Dear Annie’.

The track, ‘Egyptian Luvr’, named Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record in the World’, is accompanied by an otherworldly video from Caviar director, Martin C Pariseau.

The Canadian director comments, ‘Rejjie is such an exciting artist, so it was an honour to collaborate with him on the video for his debut single.’

The film sees Snow as an alien who is on the run, together with a female accomplice, being pursued by the police. Featuring artist Animé also makes an appearance as he nonchalantly cruises past the escapee alien in a baby-blue convertible, top down.

The artist comments that he wanted the video to reflect the 70s, as well as exploring the track’s themes of identity. “In this video I wanted to explore another form,” says Rejjie, “space themes shape the album and Martin the director brought this to life. It felt good to be from another planet for the day.”

Kaytranada produced the featured track with Martin notably having also directed the video for the Haitian- Canadian DJ and Record Producer’s hit track ‘Lite Spots’, garnering nearly four million views on YouTube.
