Brothers O-T & Luti Fagbenle Create New Channel 4 Comedy ‘MAXXX’

O-T Fagbenle, who currently stars in hit show ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ stars, writes, and directs this new comedy mini series for Channel 4. The series is produced by his brother Luti Fagbenle, a prolific international music video producer and founder of production company Luti Media.

MAXXX is of the lineage of classic British anti-hero episodic sitcoms influenced by series such as ‘Black Adder’, ‘Fawlty Towers’ and ‘The Office’. It follows the escapades of a former boy band star ‘MAXXX’ as he throws all dignity and decorum out of the window in a desperate bid to become famous again.

The hilarious comedy released on All4 dives into the world of music and celebrities with a fan being punched for mistaking MAXXX for Craig David, Rita Ora being left embarrassing voicemail messages, and Dynamo being thrown out of a moving car.

After two seasons on HBO’s 'Looking,' triple-threat star O-T shot a lead role in Harlan Coban's 'The Five' and the titular role in BBC’s 'The Interceptor'. O-T went on to lead the National Theatre's 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom' to an Olivier Award for Best Revival and the BBC’s 'NW' which grabbed a BAFTA nod for Best Stand-alone Drama. He’s currently starring in 'The Handmaid's Tale' as Luke, the husband to Elisabeth Moss’s lead role, which received an early pickup for season 2,

Luti Media are best known for creating award winning music videos for artists such as Zayn, Rita Ora, Kanye West, and many more. The London based company also produces commercials & branded content for high profile brands such as Beats By Dre, Alexander Wang and BMW to name but a few. The company is expanding from producing short form into creating long form TV series starting with a number of new commissions from BBC and Channel 4.

The ‘Fagbenle Bros’ aim to produce and release a full six part series for the show “MAXXX’ in 2018
