Brave Bison Creates Branded Content Series for Courtyard by Marriott

Campaign stars German comedian, Henning Wehn and German football legend, Lothar Matthaus travelling to five European cities to discover the meaning of the beautiful game

Brave Bison, the social video company, has worked with global hotel brand, Courtyard by Marriott, to create a branded content series to be hosted on their Slash Football YouTube channel.

Building on Courtyard by Marriott’s recent announcement of a multi-year partnership with German football champions FC Bayern, Brave Bison, working with Wavemaker Global, has developed and produced ‘Finding Football’, a branded content series featuring German comedian, Henning Wehn and German football legend, Lothar Matthaus.

The unlikely pair travel to five European cities, including Munich, to uncover the true meaning of football. Together Lothar and Henning explore the importance of football in a plethora of communities, from the first ever LGBT team in Edinburgh to street footballers in Paris, through to alternative versions of sport like blind football.

During the series, a beautiful relationship blossoms between the comedian and the ex-professional. Lothar is Henning’s idol, whilst Lothar has never heard of his counterpart and they slowly become friends connecting through their shared love for the game.
