Creative branding agency Character has added brand consulting and design veteran Myra El-Bayoumi as its new strategy director. Myra’s move to Character comes on the heels of the agency expanding its operations to the East Coast with the opening of a new New York office, following its acquisition by Dentsu earlier this year.
As Character's strategy director, Myra leads the agency's practice of uncovering concrete insights and delivering fresh ideas to clients coast-to-coast. Specialising in brand strategy and experienced in advertising, marketing research, and media planning, Myra has advised some of the world's most notable brands, such as Facebook, GE, and FedEx.
Myra arrives from Landor, having previously worked at agencies such as Siegel+Gale and Interbrand. She has covered a wide variety of industries, from technology to energy and healthcare and financial services, among others.
