Just Eat license JoyPixels emojis in their latest ‘Real Reviews’ campaign films

London based licensing firm Born Licensing has signed a representation agreement with JoyPixels Inc.,  the official licensing brand of EmojiOne digital icons . Born Licensing will operate as their licensing agent in the advertising and marketing category.

The JoyPixels emoji catalogue consists of over 2,800 emoji icons that are meticulously crafted, emotionally expressive, and highly entertaining. The  range includes emoji icons recognised around the globe such as the ‘smiling face’, the ‘face blowing a kiss’ and of course the ‘poo’ emoji.

The pairing has already resulted in a campaign with UK online food order and delivery service Just Eat, who has launched a number of films with local restaurant employees reading real online customer reviews which featured JoyPixels owned emoji icons.

In one of the films, three staff members from a London restaurant read a real review from customer Rachael, whose review said ‘always perfect, beautiful tasty food, thank you’ peppered with JoyPixels emojis throughout. The campaign was created by Karmarama.

Born Licensing is the licensing firm behind the MoneySuperMarket campaigns that licensed He-Man and Skeletor and more recently Action Man. They have also licensed characters and clips for T-Mobile, Instagram, Facebook, Subaru, EA Games, BT, KFC, OVO Energy, Tesco, Comic Relief and more.

David Born, Director of Born Licensing commented: "We’ve had a great deal of enquiries from creative agencies about licensing emojis over the years and we’re excited to now have a  partnership in place where we can license over 2,800 of them in the advertising space. Emoji icons are truly universal and with such a broad range the JoyPixels library can speak to all people. Emojis are an incredibly impactful way to tell a  story and communicate to an audience. We expect there to be a lot of interest from the advertising community!"

Rick Moby, Founder of JoyPixels commented: "We’re grateful to officially call Born Licensing family!  Their mastery in the advertising field is evident. Our brand is about to break through in 2018 with fresh, all new emoji icons suited perfectly for any premium campaign.  Let’s make magic together."

Born Licensing is already exploring a number of new campaigns with creative agencies that are interested in licensing JoyPixels emojis.
