El Carousel and director Jack Jameson join forces to bring humour to Benefit’s boutique launch

Benefit Cosmetics is no stranger to a little humour, and nowhere is that more apparent than in the latest spot for its new Boutique, Brows A Go Go. Opened in Kensington this month, the concept store is a new take on the traditional Benefit Boutique. With an increased focus on brow services, the aim is to provide a space for customers who want a speedy service.

The 35-second spot takes this speed messaging and adds some traditional Benefit humour to bring the new store to life. Featuring Liz Kingsman and Michael Addo, the shoot took place on the streets of Kensington before moving to a nearby house.

The ad reunites Liz and Michael, who played a dating couple in another El Carousel, Jack Jameson and Benefit Cosmetics production from January of this year.

El Carousel has been working with Benefit since 2015, and have produced a whole host of innovative and fun content. This year alone, work has included two TV spots for Benefit’s Bold is Beautiful charity campaign, which beautifully combined live action and animation; a new round of content for the 5 Minutes With… series, which interviews empowering and inspiring women; and a first of its kind within beauty, live streaming weekend for The Cheek Leaders Championships.

The Brows A Go Go spot went live on Saturday 13th July and will be utilised across a series of social media ad placements.
