RESONANCE is a new photography exhibition celebrating music and its unique relationship with advertising, in association with Beat Magazine
BBH’s creative brand and heritage is intrinsically linked to its innovative use and its love of music. From Levi's 'Flat Eric', to Lynx ‘Pulse', to Audi 'Clowns', music is the red thread that has enabled BBH to creatively express the emotional truth of the brands we work with.

The theme of the RESONANCE programme will be the special relationship between music and advertising. The exhibition and event will showcase a broad range of artists, musical or otherwise. RESONANCE will be a platform to experience and appreciate music in all its wonderful forms, and to hero its extraordinary stories and narratives.

The private view and launch will featured a large scale exhibition, live music performances presented by Black Sheep Music from The Mystery Jets and IDER, and an accompanying zine.

The exhibition will feature the work of renowned photographers such as Jill Furmanovsky, Janette Beckman, Deirdre O’Callaghan, James Mollison, and Dante. It will also display iconic Beat Magazine covers from photographers including Ryan McGinley Alasdair McLellan and Tyrone Lebon.

The RESONANCE zine will feature a conversation between Ian Heartfield (BBH London CCO) and Nick Gill (Partner) on music and BBH; The Most Radicalist “Shout Out” with The Mystery Jets; segments from Hanna Hanra (Editor of Beat Magazine) Deirdre O’Callaghan, Janette Beckman, James Mollison; a showcase of BBH’s greatest musical ads, and much more.

“UP is a place for BBH to demonstrate our passion for art, music, food, technology, sport and film, a place for us to play and collaborate and extend our creative network” says Stephen Ledger-Lomas.

RESONANCE forms part of the curated programme of upcoming exhibitions which will also include solo and group shows throughout the year, production talent showcases in creative technology, photography, film and illustration, director and photographer maker talks, exclusive music showcases, film screenings and collaborations with cultural institutions in London and beyond.
