BBH Hires Michael Densmore as Chief Global Growth Officer

BBH is experiencing significant growth on the new business front. The agency has hired Michael Densmore as Chief Global Growth Officer, effective May 27, who will be based in the New York office. The role will focus on global growth for BBH, across its seven offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Sao Paulo, Shanghai and Mumbai, with an emphasis on North America-based global businesses.

“Mike has a fantastic track record with some of the most dynamic and creative agencies in North America,” said Gwyn Jones, Group CEO, BBH. “We are thrilled to have him on board and look forward to him bringing the benefit of that experience to a wider audience on the global stage. It feels like the right time for us to build global business development out of the US rather than just the UK as has been the case historically.”

Densmore brings more than two decades of advertising and marketing experience to the agency. He joins from McKinney, where he was Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to that, he was Head of Business Development at Droga5 after a stint as Group Account Director leading the Prudential, Kraft, and Microsoft accounts. Densmore has held roles as Chief Marketing Officer for Integrated Beverage Group; Chief Talent Officer for Arnold Worldwide; and Senior Partner/Global Business Director for JWT, New York. Additionally, he was an original partner at Modernista in Boston, where he served as EVP, Head of Account Service, and New Business. Densmore cut his teeth at agencies like Wieden & Kennedy and Fallon.
