Amazon Launches in Car Alexa with New Spot from Joint

Amazon has launched a brand new innovation - The Echo Auto.

The small device can easily be plugged into your car or connected via Bluetooth, so you can take Alexa’s voice assistant along for the ride. It connects to your phone’s Alexa app to provide every voice-activated service that your homebound Echo does, including news, sports, recipes, shopping lists, and music streaming. ‘Coming Home’ tells the story of a man returning home. From the comfort of his car he asks Alexa to turn up the temperature and turn on the lights at his home.

But we realise he’s not doing it for himself but for his wife returning to their house. In fact, he’s actually about to begin his nightshift. It follows on from the successful ‘Morning Ritual’ film for Alexa released in September.

The spot, created by Joint, is airing across the US.
