alter ego is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Conor Fisher to senior colourist. 

Always exploring new ways to push his work, Conor brings a bold look to every project he touches. "Sometimes you need to really stretch the boundaries to make something that feels different; that’s the world I like to work within. I’m constantly pushing myself to go outside of what’s safe and trying to create something that will make people pause." 

Drawn to contrast and mood Conor's unique style adds an element to a project that sometimes can't be captured on set whether it be for a commercial or film. "As a colourist you’re always contributing to a style or movement. It’s my job to take an original vision and create something new that fits the story."

In his down time, you can find Conor soaking up inspiration from many places. "I shoot a lot on the side as a cinematographer and I'm a huge cinefile, inspired by everything from the small indie film to the latest blockbuster. I also find a lot of inspiration from my friends and collaborators who are doing exciting projects as part of the Toronto filmmaking renaissance happening right now. There’s so much great work coming out of our city and I want to be a big part of that."
