Air-Edel recently teamed up with Golden Globe-winner Ricky Gervais for Netflix’s hit original series 'After Life'. Air-Edel’s music supervisors Matt Biffa and Ciara Elwis worked on the series, with engineer Nick Taylor recording and mixing the score at Air Edel Recording Studios with the composer and ex-Razorlight drummer, Andy Burrows. The music production company worked with Ricky and Andy previously on David Brent: Life on the Road, which was also recorded, mixed and mastered by Nick Taylor and featured string arrangements from Air-Edel composer Michael J McEvoy.

The dark comedy follows the story of Tony, a man who has recently lost his wife Lisa to cancer, who is finding it tough to find anything worth living for. His friends and co-workers try to keep him occupied, but the only thing preventing Tony from ending it all is the responsibility to feed his dog every morning. The show explores the eternal question — what's the point of it all? Why is life worth living, even when you've lost everything?

Alex Davies at The Express noted "it’s the After Life soundtrack which has also contributed hugely to the tear-jerking storylines. Including songs such as The Thorns hit Among the Living and Nick Cave’s Into My Arms, the music used on After Life consists of a number of timeless hits."
