Acne and adam&eveDDB Let You Chat with Your Cat for New Temptations Campaign
Creative collective launches 'Catterbox' technology
It’s a wonderful day for cat lovers.
Acne & Temptations have announced the launch of Catterbox, a collar that translates a cat meow into English in an attempt to bring cats and owners together.
Working with adam&eveDDB Acne were able to use many of the departments within the creative collective. Acne's R and D department took care of the initial research, design , prototyping, development and manufacture of the collar; alongside R & D the digital team worked on the design of the app and the interface with the collar to make it function as it does. The Design team created the brand identity from logo through to final packaging and Acne’s very talented Director Joakim Berhman documented the process and created the promotional film and associated content.
Johan Holmgren, Creative Director, ACNE, says: "Chatterbox is produced with the help of speech recognition to detect and analyse the many different “meows” of cats. After scientific analysis, the necklace translates cat-language into something that we humans are able to understand. We wanted to created something that’s actually useful for cat owners, and help them become closer to the their cats and understand them in a way they’ve never been able to do before.”
