Mullen Lowe North America, 2 weeks, 3 days ago

Appointment expands on previous role overseeing MullenLowe Profero in the Americas

Aaron Reitkopf Named President of MullenLowe NY

Aaron Reitkopf has been named President of MullenLowe NY, a new position with executive oversight for the agency’s core creative offering in its newly opened office on Park Avenue in NYC. Reitkopf is taking on this new role as an expansion of his previous leadership in the Americas of MullenLowe Profero, the digital pure-play offering from the global MullenLowe Group.

Reitkopf has led Profero in the Americas since 2010, helping to build the global digital agency, which was acquired by MullenLowe’s holding company, IPG, in 2014. He will continue to lead MullenLowe Profero in this region, while stepping into his new role overseeing MullenLowe NY. Prior to joining Profero, Reitkopf was CEO of the highly regarded creative agency Kirshenbaum & Bond from 1998 to 2009.

“Aaron is an inspiring and energetic leader with a deep passion for creativity in all its forms,” said Lee Newman, CEO of MullenLowe US. “He has a vision for melding the many talents within MullenLowe to create powerful content, technology, programming and experiences that will earn our clients an unfair share of attention.”

MullenLowe Group now has full-service, hyperbundled capabilities in NY, with creative from MullenLowe NY, digital development from MullenLowe Profero, media planning and buying with MullenLowe Mediahub and an emerging activation and customer relationship management (CRM) capability called MullenLowe Open.

MullenLowe NY is staffed with account management, strategic planning, creative, media, PR, social, technology and integrated production talent to service existing and prospective clients. Reitkopf will partner with Executive Creative Directors Tim Vaccarino and Dave Weist, who have added NY creative oversight to their current roles leading MullenLowe’s creative teams in Boston. On the media side, Reitkopf will partner with John Moore, Global President of MullenLowe Mediahub, to provide cross-channel media solutions for clients from the New York office.

“Here in NYC, where agencies famously unbundled years ago, we’re riding a powerful wave of rebundling,” said Reitkopf. “MullenLowe offers clients best-in-class capabilities across the full communications spectrum and the entire consumer journey. High-concept creative, innovative media, web development, design, PR, social, CRM and analytics — all coupled together in a seamless model that maximises brand impact and gives our clients efficiency and clarity of purpose in their agency structure.”
