Geometry has been briefed to develop a B2B integrated campaign for FUEL3D

Geometry Global UK has been appointed by leading 3D capture and imaging innovator FUEL3D to deliver market analysis, strategic direction, and support the growth of its rapidly expanding portfolio of services.

The business was awarded without a pitch and is effective immediately. Billings are undisclosed.

George Thaw, CEO Fuel3D, commented, “Our business has accelerated faster than anticipated, and, we looked or a partner to help us harness and expand our journey of innovation in an incredibly fast-paced sector. Geometry mirrors our values and beliefs, and, has a remarkable record of helping brands and businesses to transform with flair and effectiveness. It is a good partnership.”

As part of the consultancy brief, Geometry has been briefed to develop a B2B integrated campaign anchored in digital and powerful content creation. The two areas of focus are Eyewear and Footwear.

In the eyewear industry, poor fitting glasses cause discomfort and misalignment of lenses with eyes, which can result in dissatisfied customers returning glasses.

3D technology is being used at retail point-of-sale to capture customer facial data. This allows the retailer to offer best-fit recommendations on their existing inventory and custom-fit manufactured frames for a truly bespoke finish.

Eyewear retailers benefit from improved customer experience, increased revenue, lower returns and higher customer satisfaction. In addition, retailers they use customer facial data to create an effective omni-channel retail experience: facial data is stored in the cloud, allowing online customers to filter the inventory by frames suitable to their face shape and size. Similarly, in the footwear industry, 3D imaging technology is revolutionising in-store retail experiences by enabling custom-fit sports footwear and medical orthotics. 3D data is captured at the point of sale and is used by manufacturers to produce perfect fitting footwear which promotes improved sporting performance and reduced risk of injury. In addition, retailers can realize new revenue streams by offering bespoke services. Example workflow video.

Deloitte expects the global 3D printing market to reach $20.5 billion by 2020 while the 3D imaging market is anticipated to be worth be worth $16billion by 2020.
