Tanja is a global marketer and feminist, passionate about growing businesses by building brands with a purpose that are worthy being invited into culture. She believes in brand bravery, championing change and creative effectiveness.
In her current role, as global marketing director at Essity, she redefined the global brand positioning for Libresse (or Bodyform, Nana etc), led taboo breaking campaigns #bloodnormal, #VivaLaVulvaand #wombpainstories tackling toxic stereotypes around periods, vaginas and women’s bodies, disrupting the Feminine Care category forever.
The work is part of the advertising archives of the MOMA (NYC), the Louvre (Paris) and received 200+ awards, including Cannes Lions Grand Prix for Glass, Titanium Lions, D&AD black pencil of the decade, APG Grand Prix for creative strategy, WARC Grand Prix for effective use of brand purpose and put Libresse among the top five creative brands in the world (WARC 2019, 2020, 2021). That's bloody lovely but even better, it's improving millions of women’s lives worldwide.
In the last 18 years, she’s lived across three continents, worked across a broad range of brands and FMCG categories in regional and global roles always having innovation, design, sustainability but above all the consumer in mind.
