Global Chief Creative Officer at VMLY&R COMMERCE, Manuel Bordé owns the global creative strategy for VMLY&R COMMERCE to accelerate the delivery of creative commerce at the intersection of physical, digital and social. Joining in 2019, he played an instrumental role in elevating the creative capability in North America and has been working alongside Beth Ann Kaminkow to launch the new WPP company as it helps clients navigate the accelerated digital transformation at retail and across all commerce touchpoints.
A Colombia native, Manuel’s agency and client experience spans categories and markets worldwide having spent time at high-profile global networks TBWA, DDB, and Ogilvy in MENA, Colombia, Panama and Puerto Rico. He has created and led work that has received countless industry accolades including Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Clio Awards, Effie, Dubai Lynx (including 10 GPs), WARC, London International Awards, New York Festivals, Ojo de Iberoamérica and Loeries, among others.
Manuel also ranked as the #1 Creative Director in the MENA Region by the B&W Report three years in a row (2017-2019) and was honored in Communicate’s 40 under 40 Class of 2019. His vision to elevate the creative potential of commerce channels is helping VMLY&R COMMERCE lead this new and emerging area of growth for brand marketers.
