This is our ad-industry version of the straight 8 competition. it is limited to 25 companies
working in the global ad industry, competing as companies, for charity.
straight 8 industry shootout is presented by the APA, in association with Cinelab London,
with design by Rothco (2nd runner up in shootout 2016), and elevenfiftyfive and ourscreen
on board as partners again. The rules are the same but companies enter with their name on
their film and ALL of the films - good, bad or ugly - will be screened for the very first time
ever at Cinema Les Arcades in Cannes on Friday June 23rd - it’s raw, it’s pure, it’s scary.
The cinema audience will then vote and the winning companies get to donate the prizemoney
to the charities of their choosing.
Only 25 places are available and each film must be an official company entry - companies
must be working in the advertising industry - whether they’re an agency, production
company, service company, media agency, post-house, edit house, music company,
