Alex Lampe began his career at the award-winning design company, Lewis Moberly. In 2007, he became a founding partner of Wiedemann Lampe, an integrated brand agency with clients like Channel 4 and Domino Records. He’s most proud of the '3D: Printing the Future' exhibition that Wiedemann Lampe created for the Science Museum.
Alex’s session is designed to expose the hidden dimensions of art direction for digital. For those looking for digital art direction advertising courses, there couldn't be a better fit. As Alex says, “This session will give art directors the blueprint for something amazing to happen, to exploit the difference between conventional art direction and art direction for digital. Traditional print limits what an art director can achieve. Digital does the opposite. It opens up all sorts of possibilities.”
In order to give you a good idea of those possibilities, Alex covers the full gamut of art direction for digital. He will teach you how to approach digital projects more confidently and how to communicate more effectively with digital specialists, developers and engineering teams. he will pass on handy hints to speed up your work in the digital domain. Finally, he will share their understanding of the different digital platforms available for social campaigns. We’d be surprised if, by the end of the day, you’re not as hooked on the digital drug as Alex is.
