Description

Admit it: you’re the “herder” in your group of friends–the one who takes charge, makes plans, coordinates, and generally directs everyone forward to the activities. You’re the most organized person you know. And you’re probably that person who hates to be late. That’s why you’re the perfect Project Management Intern. You’ll be assisting in the coordination of multiple projects within a given brand or client (potentially across multiple) or on a singular, complex project. You’re there to help us ensure projects meet or exceed internal team and client expectations, adhering to your new favorite mantra: “on-time and on budget.”

If you’re looking for another bullet point on your resume, look elsewhere. Our interns work on “real work,” with real meetings, deadlines, and business challenges from our brands and clients. This is the education you won’t get in a classroom. Consider it career practice, with the freedom to learn, make mistakes, refine, question and tag along. You’ll work with our Program Manager in a unique cross-disciplinary environment focused on brand, communications, marketing and digital. As part of the larger program, you’ll take part in intern meetings and initiatives. And yes, it’s paid, with an hourly rate, for 40 hours/week, on-site. It starts June 4th. What you’ll do:

You will help set up meetings and document team activities, make schedules, take meeting notes, create agendas, and the like.
You will also help document the project team’s approach, deliverables, schedule and tools to deliver the project within established constraints.
You will help coordinate client sign-off documents at key points during the project life cycle.
Get ready to collaborate; you’ll work internally to support other PMs; and with Client Engagement and Project Managers to produce accurate financial reporting.
Since dropping the ball is not your style, you’ll help coordinate and maintain project documentation including status reports, invoices, change orders, project schedules, budgets, and “postmortem reviews.” (We’ll explain.)
You will collaborate on the content and presentation of key client deliverables as required to ensure relevancy, strategy, quality and timeliness.
You’ll following standard policies and procedures, recommending improvements as appropriate.
You will be reviewing all client documentation for financial accuracy and grammar/spelling.

Can handle multiple, diverse tasks simultaneously
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Have on-point organizational and time management skills
Are a team player, ready to assist with internal teams and clients
Know how to identify problems and recommend potential solutions
Proficient in MS Office and Google platform and apps
Are people-passionate (especially when the people are kind and ego-free) and you’re ready to jump in and get stuff done
