bouffant launched in 2007, headed by directors Erik Van Wyk, Dean Blumberg, Marc Sidelsky and Andre Liebenberg. With these four directors, bouffant reached the status of number one ranked production company in South Africa in 2012 and continues to be recognised as a leading company in the industry.

After over 20 years as Executive Producer at Velocity, Peter Carr took the reins as the newly appointed Executive Producer in 2014. Adding to this new wave of development bouffant signed directors Thabang Moleya, Petar Spiljevic and Gordon Lindsay.

Now in its eighth year of operation bouffant aims to expand its creative portfolio and build on its base in conventional film production, eventually expanding into the dynamic digital marketing space.

The company’s strength lies in the eclectic mix of directorial talents. This variety of styles enables bouffant to push creative boundaries, whilst keeping its fun and vibrant flavour.
