Forty-three tummies show a range of realistic midriffs that endorse the Activia message of “it starts inside”. The idea was to portray real people in a charming way that made the viewer feel represented on screen. We cast all the tummies and shot them in a wide range of locations. A prize for identifying which tummy belongs to the client. Shot in Majorca with “The Local Production Company” Directed by Stephen Mead and produced by Holly Hartley. Cut by Suzy Davis and lit by Erwan Elies. With the help of some good Spanish catering, we managed to end up with quite impressive tummies ourselves. About Short Films (use new account)

Short Films is a London based commercial production company, situated in the heart of Soho making all forms of advertising content.

Started with a view to offer an alternative to big multi-director companies, it has the specific aim of creating something more efficient, flexible and personal. Since its launch in 2004, Stephen Mead and Holly Hartley have concentrated on the production of innovative and evolving work through commercials, short films and music videos.

We care about keeping the standards of the visual image high and not ever making a mass-market brand look “mass market”. In our opinion there is no better endorsement of our work than when our clients receive effectiveness in advertising awards. We feel the job has been well done when the product has done well.

We are currently moving towards a company focused solely on fashion and beauty, representing directors who are not just proficient but can offer a more creative, alternative approach to a script.
