As lead agency for adidas Football, we have reignited the brand with a millennial audience whose footballing passion is played out in social. Since 2014 we’ve launched ground breaking digital first campaigns that have cemented adidas’ position as pioneers and leaders in footballing creativity. In 2017 adidas wanted their football line to lead the charge in positioning them as the brand that champions creativity in sports. They tasked us with landing this core brand message – whilst making sure we sell boots while we were at it! Enter ‘Here to Create’. Using illustration as footballing creativity’s visual expression, we developed a campaign to demonstrate the stark contrast between boring, uneventful football and the vibrancy and joy that creativity sparks. Launching with a hero film across all major social media networks, we landed the impact of announcing your creativity, using animation to visualise the meaning of being ‘Here to Create’. The film featured star players including Messi, Pogba, Suárez & Firmino. The campaign launched on 01.06.17, results coming soon…
