Children's Miracle Network: Balloons for Champions

Children’s Miracle Network wanted to make this year’s annual Champions celebration the biggest one yet. To make that happen, JWT created Balloons for Champions, a social media campaign with an online experience that allowed visitors to inflate balloons in support of this year’s amazing Champions. JWT’s Digital Team worked with wonderMakr to create a custom machine that received commands from https://childrensmiraclenetwork.ca/balloons/ so balloons could be inflated in real time to fill up the event space. The site featured a live stream of the balloons being blown up in real time with visitors’ names appearing in the stream as the balloons floated to the ceiling. On Monday March 20th, the 13 Champions were overjoyed to walk into the Sussex Room of the Marriott Hotel Ottawa and find over 5,000 balloons blown up in celebration of their limitless character.
